Growing up in a musical family, I have developed a love and appreciation for classical music and fine instruments. My father bought me a 200 year-old violin when I was 13. Through years of careful studying, I was able to identify the nuances of different violin making schools and makers. Over the years, I have successfully identified and authenticated violins from different countries. Many of them were deemed unidentifiable by other experts.

As a trained violinist, I studied with pupils of Heifetz, Menuhin, Milstein and Szeryng: I developed a great sensitivity to sound, response, and playability. I have studied some of the finest violins by Stradivari, Guarneri, Guadagnini, Amati, Fagnola, Poggi, Garimberti, Capicchioni, and J.B. Vuillaume, to name a few. Some of the fine bows I regularly handle are made by F.X. Tourte, D. Peccatte, E. Sartory. A. Lamy, and F.N. Voirin. My customers include members of The Metropolitan Opera, Vancouver Symphony, Vancouver Island Symphony, soloists, concertmasters, and collectors around the world.
